You will be getting bags after Easter. We need you to fill these with unwanted clothes, soft toys, shoes, bedding and towels and bring them to school on the morning of 17th May. It's a great way of spring cleaning and raising money for school at the same time!
Saturday 18th June at 4 p.m. Sponsored Walk round Langsett Reservoir
A great opportunity to have a gentle walk in the sunshine (we hope!) and chat with other parents and friends of the school. Sponsor forms will be available after the Easter break.
And in a packed programme, we're already thinking about events for next year. Ideas include a Christmas card competition, a 'Great British Bake Off' when we hope all you fantastic cooks out there will produce traditional British foods (mince pies, pastries, Christmas cakes, pickles, chutneys and preserves) to sell and to win the coveted title of 'Best BCS British Baker' (or some other title we invent between now and then!) and a new FBCS recipe book.
We'll keep you informed of all events and thank you again for all your support this term, especially at the Chocolate Bake 'n' Take last week.
