Go for Gold

In recent years, we have run a scheme called 'Go for Gold' to raise money for school. With this scheme, parents and friends bring in any unwanted gold to school and we pass this on to Mr & Mrs Roberts, parents who work in the jewellery trade, who then sell this and give the money raised back to school.

In the past, this helped to raise a considerable amount of money towards the Sports Hall floor, and we still need some money to finish paying for this. We have a number of new parents in school who have expressed an interest in this scheme, so we are pleased to inform you that we will be re-starting the 'Go for Gold' scheme.

If you have any items of unwanted gold (broken jewellery, one solitary earring without its pair etc.), please bring these into the school office and when we have sufficient items in weight to make it worth while to sell these, we will pass them on to Mr & Mrs Roberts.
